The Eligible Prime and the Product Supplier

An Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) is an Indian Economic Enterprise that also meets the applicable small-business criteria. Indian ownership, earnings, management and control requirements apply. The Interior definitions and the solicitation govern the eligibility review.

Buy Indian Act rules give preference to eligible Indian enterprises for applicable agency purchases. An ISBEE set-aside calls for an eligible ISBEE to submit the offer. Supplying products to SCG does not make another company an ISBEE or transfer SCG’s status to that company.

Can a non-Native-owned manufacturer participate?

SCG welcomes manufacturers, distributors and specialists of different ownership backgrounds. We review the proposed supply arrangement against the solicitation, including sourcing, subcontracting and performance requirements. When SCG is prime, we lead the government-facing offer and contract administration; the supplier provides the products and work agreed in the scope.

If your company will hold the prime contract, discuss a defined SCG supply or subcontract role on a contract your company is eligible to prime. Using SCG as a subcontractor does not establish your company’s eligibility for an ISBEE set-aside.

01 / REVIEW

Share the requirement

Send the solicitation and amendments, deadline and the scope your company can support. SCG reviews fit, eligibility, specifications and the proposed supply channel.

02 / QUOTE

Resolve the details

Confirm the product, delivered price, availability and responsibilities. Identify any installation, training, service or documentation that requires a specialist.

03 / AGREE

Document the arrangement

Agree on scope and terms before committing. If an award leads to a supplier order, the SCG purchase order records pricing, delivery and payment terms. An introduction or quote is not an award or purchase order.

Supplier Quotation Checklist

A complete first quote helps resolve gaps before the agency’s deadline. Include the items relevant to the requirement and flag anything still awaiting confirmation.

Clear Terms and a Defined Next Step

We provide an initial response within 24 hours; a completed quote depends on the requirement and supplier information. We do not use your pricing to solicit a lower quote from a competing supplier. Payment arrangements remain open for discussion, and we seek credit terms where available.

See the details for medical suppliers or IT hardware partners, and review our documented awarded work. Each opportunity is reviewed separately; a partnership does not guarantee an award.
