Medical Suppliers: Partner With an ISBEE

Bring your equipment, supplies or specialist service capabilities to Sovereign Contracts Group. We review opportunities for Indian Health Service hospitals, clinics and service units with manufacturers, distributors and qualified service providers.

Start With the Product and the Facility’s Need

SCG welcomes introductions covering medical equipment, exam and treatment furnishings, hospital equipment and clinical consumables. Share your product categories, manufacturer relationships, delivery reach and service coverage. An introductory conversation does not require a current solicitation.

For a specific requirement, send the solicitation, amendments and response deadline. Include the required manufacturer and model or the performance specification, quantities and delivery site. Identify proposed equivalents clearly so technical acceptability can be reviewed before an offer is prepared.

Our role is to coordinate sourcing and the agreed federal contracting work. Clinical suitability, installation, training and service require the appropriate product expertise and qualified providers. We define those responsibilities with the supplier for each opportunity.

Three Parts of a Useful Healthcare Quote

01 / PRODUCT

Document the proposed item

Provide model and part numbers, quantities, specifications, accessories and the documentation requested by the solicitation. Confirm the authorized supply channel and identify any availability or substitution concerns.

02 / DELIVERY

Confirm arrival requirements

State lead time, freight and delivery charges, receiving hours and unloading needs. Identify inside delivery, assembly, storage, old-equipment removal or site preparation separately.

03 / SUPPORT

Name the service owner

Define installation, commissioning or training where required. State warranty coverage, service locations, response commitments and any maintenance, consumable or recurring costs.

A Defined Supplier Role With SCG as Prime

SCG is a Native American-owned, women-owned Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise. The Indian Health Service uses Buy Indian Act authority for applicable procurements. The solicitation determines the eligibility, sourcing and performance requirements.

Manufacturers and distributors of different ownership backgrounds can discuss a supply arrangement with SCG. We review whether the proposed arrangement fits the requirement. An ISBEE set-aside requires an eligible ISBEE offeror; supplying SCG does not transfer that eligibility to your company.

When SCG is prime, we coordinate the government-facing offer, contract administration, buyer communication and invoicing. The supplier provides the products, documentation and technical services agreed in the scope. Read our Buy Indian supplier guide for the process and quotation checklist.

Documented IHS facility-sourcing experience

SCG received a $31,980 award on August 6, 2026 for sink fixtures at Gallup Indian Medical Center Facility Management, award 75H71026P00471. Its supplier purchase order specifies 200 faucet fixtures across four models, manufacturer warranty and delivery and inspection documentation.

This example describes awarded facility-sourcing scope and supplier-order responsibilities. It is not a claim of clinical-equipment experience or completed delivery. Review the award examples and evidence basis.

What to Send SCG

  • Introducing your line: company website, product categories, manufacturer relationships, contact and delivery or service coverage.
  • Quoting a requirement: solicitation and amendments, deadline, itemized specifications, delivered pricing, quote validity and availability.
  • Planning services: the party responsible for installation, training, warranty support and any site work, with exclusions clearly stated.
  • Agreeing terms: proposed credit or payment terms and any deposits or milestones for discussion before commitment.

We provide an initial response within 24 hours and discuss the next step. We do not use your pricing to solicit a lower quote from a competing supplier. Payment terms are discussed for each opportunity, and we seek credit terms where available. Agreed scope, price, delivery and terms are documented in the SCG purchase order.

Quote completion depends on the specifications and supplier information; an award is never guaranteed. For computers, networking and related technology, see our federal IT hardware partnerships.
